Wait for the green card to come back from the post office. Look at the date they signed it. Give them 30 days from that date to validate (They can't) then send the cease letter - it says "your 30 days are up, you didn't validate, take this off my credit report, and don't call me any more." Keep in mind, Gulf State does not obey the law. We found out from inside soureces they don't get the information to validate from the original creditor - they would have to pay for it to get it. They will ignore your letters, but your letters are your paper trail, so you can file suit against them. When served with a lawsuit, they cave in like cardboard. Linda
