Needs some help on what to do next. I was just served with legal papers stating a lawsuit has been start and gives me 20 days to respond. This is on a debt I mailed payment on 6 days ago and payment was accepted (received my copy of the certified letter showing acceptance of the letter.) Should I talk to an attorney or respond somehow on my own to clear this up? Also, what about the fees that are on this paper? Thanks for any help.
