I got my Experian Report and there is an entry from Gulf State Credit.

Date Opened:
01/2000

Type:
Installment

Reported Since:
02/2002
Terms:
1 Months

Date of Status:
02/2002
Monthly Payment:
$0

Last Reported:
02/2002
Responsibility:
Individual

Credit Limit/Original Amount:
$1,084

High Balance:
NA

Recent Balance:
NA

Recent Payment:
NA

Creditor's statement: Account transferred to another lender.

This was listed in Accounts considered non-negative. This must be a charge-off credit card from nearly 10 years ago. I know the SOL expired. Why did they list this way? I suppose the last sentence says they transferred it to another CA. I was never contacted by Gulf State. If they were listing like this, they could have had my address from the credit report, right?
