Generally speaking,if you are putting a sufficient down payment,and your fiancee's credit is adaquate to purchase on his own, your credit will not hurt you. The only time when it COULD hurt would be if your fiancee's income and credit would not be enough by itself. Talk to your loan officer BEFORE you start shopping and get pre-qualified for a mortgage. This will help you when you are shopping as a prequalified buyer gets a better deal.
