Thanks for the reply. They are listed as an "Out of State" Collection Agency. They are actually located in BC, but have a P.O. Box in Seattle. They cannot do collections in the state of WA.
Sounds odd to me. But, they are threatening to "place a judgement" on my credit report if I don't pay a credit card bill that is almost 6 years old. The original creditor is Capital One, who lists the debt as written off on my credit report.
