Thanks for your answer. Just to make sure I'm getting the whole story let me add a couple comments. I know that CCCS and similar companies are are basically a farce that is set up and funded by creditors. The debt negotiators I've been talking with say that they aren't affiliated with the creditors in any way. They don't just get intrest reduced while making monthly payments to the creditors like CCCS but rather settle with them for lump sum payments. Are they still in the same category as CCCS and credit repair people ? Also, does being a member of the Better Bussiness Bureau mean a whole lot ? Thanks again
