1)Are you allowed to request validation for a debt if you received a notice, say, 2 years ago? 2)If I called collector/creditor about a debt and spoke about possibly settling: have I given up rights to request validation? 3)I read somewhere that they can't mention there going to sue you if they don't. Is this accurate?
4)If they left me a message telling me to call them about a legal matter. Does this mean they have to go forward on the threat?
