What does "Updated" really mean on report?

I have been paying on a cc debt for awhile. I pulled up my report and noted that it says "Updated Jan 2002". I started paying a collection agency last year, but it does not have them on there, just origional creditor. Should'nt it have this and something like "paying as agreed?" "Updated" doesn't show that I am paying them a thing!? -Shell
