Please help.....charged off ......collection

I have a student loan in Utah that was charged off. This account is only reported to Experian and it says on my CR that it will continue on record until 9/2005. Anyway, General Revenue Corp is trying to collect the account. I have tried on several occasions to make payment arrangements with them. I agreed to pay $100 a month. They sent me an agreement letter to sign and I sent it back along with my 1st payment of $100.00. Then I got a letter that says that I never returned the agreement letter, so I sent it back again with my second $100 payment. Today I just received a 3rd notice and final warning that if I don't send this signed agreement back then I am subject to being assessed additional finance charges and a civil suit. What should I do? I keep getting letters saying I have broken my payment agreement, yet my checks are clearing my checking account and I send the checks with my agreement. I would appreciate any advice...
