debt counseling agencies are for the most part no longer funded by creditors. It used to be 15% of what they sent in to your creditor. Many have stopped, and the average is now around 3 to 5%. this is the reason more agencies are charging fees.

Oh, and credit repair is not the same as debt consolidation.

Does the BBB mean alot? We are not members (see previous post). We get one or two calls a year even asking if we are members.
