If you were sued without being served, then you can get the judgment overturned for lack of or improper service as this is a violation of your Constitutionally guaranteed right to Due Process. If this is the case then you'll want to get an attorney to represent you.

I have another suggestion as to how to proceed regarding their disregarding of your C&D letter: file a complaint with the State Bar. If these are really attorneys and they are violating the law and you can prove it (which it sounds like you can) then reporting them to the Bar can REALLY mess things up for them, including fines and suspensions. Nail the bastards!
