Are you taking predatory lending practices into account? I am a Christian also. Corporations do not have consciences or adhere to moral standars, only to the law, and then only when it is enforced harshly. If it is just a fine, they will pay it and keep right on taking consumer's homes and incomes because of their exhorbitant fees and interest.

Bk is a legal way out of a bad business decision, IMO. Many people go back and pay a doctor who continued to treat them when they couldn't pay, or a just creditor. But letting a corrupt, predatory corporation ruin someone's life is not Christian, IMO, and the bk law provides relief.
