Calling Pier One Imports and Settling Account

I had a Pier One Imports credit card that was charged off. I never received any bills from collection agencies on this account. Would anyone suggest calling Pier One Imports to settle the account? Would it be possible for them to remove this from my credit report in any way? Has anyone had any experience with Pier One?
