Credit card default!

I defaulted on my credit card 6 months ago in CA. I have been informed Citibank still holds account but sent to RMA collection agency. Original amount 3,500 but now with interest, etc, $4,600. Although i lost my job i have not defaulted on other 3 creditors (have smaller balances). Collections has threatened lawsuit/summons. I have no assets or savings accts only car worth 3,000 used daily for college. Any advice? What is likelihood of getting sued? Would they get full judgement plus attorney fees? I cannot afford an attorney but would go to court anyway if necessary. Thank you in advance!
