If this account is still held by Citibank you may want to contact a supervisor who works on hardship cases that are justifiable. They may work with you and withdraw the account from CA. It's possible. And if you are a college student they may have a special program since many college students get into credit trouble. Try not to provoke Citibank into resorting to filing a lawsuit against you if at all possible. Yes, they could possibly win a judgement against you which could affect your future earnings by way of garnishments.
