Yes, "Deadbeat" Florida has sme good consumer protection laws. The definition of "OPEN ACCOUNT" is found in the TILA (Truth In Lending Act) and refers to the way the account is structured, (revolving balance etc.) not how it was aplied for,or what was in the credit card (or equity loan) account agreement.
