I do not know what the law is in your State,or County for the actions you describe. This area of the law is completely dependent on local ordinance and the ucc code for your State. It is beyond my,(and probably Linda's) area of expertise. I can tell you that the reason you received no reply from the ca is because this situation does not fall within the coverage of the FDCPA,the FCRA or any other of the credit laws I am aware of. Get yourself a lawyer.
