deliquency-Need HELP

I am a student and I have not recieved my loans yet to pay bills so I will be three payments behind. I have a visa and a discover card that (by the end of March) will go on my credit report. As soon as I get my loan I will be current. What will the credit people do to me, until I can pay? And if they send me to collection with they ask that I pay the full amount on my credit cards up front (which I won't be able to do with the loan)?
