If I read correctly he said he had little money. BK lawyers can charge 500 plus. Do it yourselfs are fine AS LONG AS YOU LIST EVERYTHING. Before you file get a copy of your credit reports so you can list evrything on them (there may be things there you don't know about). There is NO reason why you can't file the BK yourself as long as you list everything.
