Your payments to CCCS are not the issue. The statute of limitations for anyone to file suit against you starts when you FIRST got "behind" on your credit cards. For instance, suppose you owed for March 1999 on a CC, didn't make a payment until May 1999, were assessed late charges etc. tried to catch up, made a deal with CCCS finally in 2000- stopped paying them in 2001- That cc account is PAST the 4 year Fl. statute of limitations because the First delinquency that eventually led to your default was 4 years ago.
