You are lucky enough to be required to prove your id- would you rather they just took someone's word for it? Identity fraud is a BIG problem,you can keep someone from stealing yours by sending them a copy of your drivers license.(unless YOU are trying to steal someone's id and don't have their drivers license for verification)
