I'm tryin to buy a townhouse for about $100K, but I have a $32K judgement back in 98 on my credit against me. So I can't get a loan.

The judgement was made in Wisconsin. I wasn't even there at the time they posted it in the local paper. I live in Virginia a little over a year ago they sent me papers that in Virginia they have a judgement against me

It's a doctor's bill. Based on an oral agreement. He claims we agreed to pay more than the insurance. We have a paper that says we will pay just the insurance

What if I just wait and rent until the judgement is cleared? I'll have to rent but I'm scared to deal with this thing. You never know what courts will do, or whether the guy is willing to settle

So I'm stuck, right? What do I do?
