Other than being annoyed, were you damaged by their actions ?
If your husband was at one time accepting responsibility for his step children,it is unlikely their bills can be separated from his own kids now.Medical bills stick to whomever seems responsible for the, related or not.You may be beyond the SOL for being sued,if so just send a cease and desist to the CA,and copies of your validation attempts,(RR) with a verify or remove request to the CRA's- stop taling on the phone,use certified RRR mail only.Try this link for more information.
