Saved old credit reports

I've saved old credit reports and haven't made any payments since. Ive noticed items listed as paid-off/last pay on current reports have changed... Let's assume the old listing play in my favor regarding (SOL.) How does this affect me if i get sued? Do I have to prove they were paid, or show them old credit reports? thanks marla
