You have a VERY strong case against Providian for all sorts of violations.I would begin by sending them a notice of impending lawsuit,file a complaint on-line with the FTC andyour State's Attorney General. They are NOT allowed to g after your father,instead of properly taking care of your dispute and the idenity fraud. Make sure your notice to file suit includes he case #'s of your complaint from the FTC and AG filing. Include n affadavit of identity fraud,send copies to your fther and inform him that since he doesn't wish to cooperate with you in clearing this up,he will not be able to join in your lawsuit against them and collect damages.
