I have been doing my best to fix my credit over the past year, and am $400.00 into paying off a loan of $600.00 that I got specifically to place on my credit report as possitive information. This is over a six month period. Omni Loans; the company that I got the loan through, says that they do not report my on-time payments to the three credit reporting agencies. The only reason that I got this loan was to get it on my report. They sent me the verified information that I have paid on time for the past four months. I sent this to all three credit reporting agencies, and got three letters back saying that I cannot send this to them and have it placed on the report itself. The loan company must do it. Omni will not do so. They are not a member of the reporting agencies. What is funny however; they do report when you don't pay on time according to them. How can I get this placed on my report? I am not keen on paying 80-odd dollars for a loan just for the hell of it.
