Refinace/Lien

We are in the process of refinacing our home and the lawyer has found 2 liens. I want to pay them off but the court record is more than what I owe one of them.
I call and they say I owe them 250.00 and the record says 438.00. Also the other one is a private individual, and has left the state and I cannot get in touch with him.
How do I pay these off, I know itis a dumb question but what do I need to get from these people(specail form)
