Answers depend on a lot of variables. Technically, if the CA verifies at a later date, the accounts can be put back on, but Experian is supposed to notify you 5 days in advance. They usually don't, and that is one of the way to "get" them.

If you sent validation letters to the CA's also, they cannot continue to collect from you until they prove the accounts is yours. If you told them to only contact you by mail, then they cannot call, even after they validate.

I imagine Experian notifies them - they notify them about everything else ;)
