Problem buying a new car

I am 18, soon to be 19, years old. I am trying to purchase a brand new 2002 Chrysler Sebring. I have a steady good paying job and about $4,000.00 for a down payment, but I have no credit or co-signer. Is there anyway for me to get this car? I was thinking about looking into a credit union for help.
