I have two questions.
1. My husband and I will be getting a mortgage in about six months for the home we are building. We are trying to bring our scores up and I noticed that our auto loan was not being reported to one of the bureaus. I told my mortgage broker about this and he said not to add it because it will bring our score down because it is increasing our debt for that bureau. We are confused --We have had this loan for a year and have always paid on time, would'nt that increase our score by adding it?

2. Gulf state appeared on my husbands credit report for a debt with at&t broadband in 97. We have never been contacted by them, so I called them to see what info they had. I have disputed this with the bureaus but I was wondering about SOL'S. I live in PA and on this site I read that SOL'S for PA is 4 years. Does this also apply to collection accounts and can I dispute it with the CB's by saying it is past the SOL.
