The best thing, in my OPINION (not legal advice) is for you to respond with a letter stating you have no attachable assets,no income that can be garnished and no ability to pay the judgment or additional fees if any enforcement of the judgment is obtained. In addition, state that if they pursue the matter, you will seek legal remedy to have the judgment vacated under Montana's Statute of Frauds, as the original contract was not in conformity with the law.PLUS the judgment may not have been validly filed. ------------------------------- Foreign corporations should register with MT Sec. of State prior to any suit in MT Courts or risk dismissal. Attorney fees only if provided by a signed written agreement http://data.opi.state.mt.us/bills/mca/31/1/31-1-221.htm -------------------------------- Statute On Contracts http://data.opi.state.mt.us/bills/mca/31/1/31-1-231.htm
