pac bell account has doubled

i have an overdue pacific bell account. The original is for $158. My problem is that it is listed twice on my credit report..by two different collection agencies both as unpaid...this is the same account...even if i pay someone...which i am willing to do if i have to...who do i pay and how do i try to settle this off my report if two agencies have it...can i get at least one removed???? thanks
