Well, for starters, the debt wasn't "Assigned" it was written off by the original creditor and purchased by whoever is threatening to sue you. Have you been talking to them? You know that's a "no no." Have they sent you any correspondence? If so what? Where did it come from? Name of the company? You can probably make them go away if you do what we say. Linda
