I wanted to thank you for your advice (3/6/02)and ask you: what is a validation letter? Also, what is the likelihood of my getting sued if i am unemployed for a significant amount of time and can they garnish wages in CAlifornia once they get a judgment against me? How will a judgment reflect on my credit report? i know they have 3 yrs to file on an open account but how soon will they file if at all on average? Thanks!
