I do have a copy of my credit report.
The original chargeoff was reported by Diners Club on 11/94.

They account was of course sold to a CA around that time.

The credit report shows the following reference dates:
DATE RPTD: 09/01
DATE OPEN: 02/93
LAST ACTV: 11/94
STATEUS: COLL/CHARGEOFF

I have never paid the collection agency anything. As this is more than 7 yrs old, and it appears to be a chargeoff, should it not be removed?

What direction do I take with this now?
