If you are filing singly on debts with only your name on them,then presumably the $$ in your husband's account cannot be touched,no matter where they came from. HOWEVER they may disqualify you from filing at all,as if you are in a new homesteaded property and have discoverable family assets, you may not qualify to file,or your creditors may challange the bk. See a lawyer.
