OK-I checked your old post.
Did the bank send you any request for payment?
Did they sell or assign the account to a collection agency?
Do YOU have any record,other than the bank's statement that you "caught up" in 1996?
I will recheck the ucc for Michigan,but I believe you are ok on the SOL. (most State's date the SOL from first delinquency,even if you "caught up"Call the bank, ask for copies of what records they have,and ask who "owns" the account now.
