Because of this forum, I have been successful in stopping a CA from harrassing me. A company called "Financal Recovery Services" began calling me on my CELL phone (lied that the number was listed), first offering me an "opportunity" to make good on on a CC debt I didn't even recognize (OSI Portfolio, $4000 plus dollars), then continuing to call my cell, and my mother's cell to dun me for payment after I asked them to stop. We let the (no ID showing) calls go to voice mail...It didn't stop them. Then they sent threatening letters. I asked for validation but they apparently didn't get the request, so I sent another RRR which I downloaded from Linda's Briefcase. No more calls, no more letters - I learned all this here...Thank you
