Any inquiry will show up as from Gevity,not your employer. The purpose of an employment inquiry is not to "confirm" your s.s.# but to see if there are things that Gevity needs to know to handle your payroll deductions.(child support,tax or judgment garnishments).Any company of any size that handles it's own payroll,rather than using a human resource agency would be doing the same thing. Employment inquiries are not made "public" for credit inquiries.
