I have made payment arrangements with an attorney for Sears on my debt. Can you offer them a settlement for the rest once you are making payments? Or is that too difficult to do since they figure you can afford the payments, they will try to get all of the money owed? For anyone dealing with Sears...they are RUTHLESS! They will send you to court for $1!! They want their money! It makes me sad that no on eis there to protect our rights. The collectors break the law and harrass us and no one cares becuase WE owe the money...I guess they feel we deserve it. This experience has changed my whole life and has made me physically SICK! Stress is worse that the debt!! It affects EVERYONE you are close to and it tears apart relationships and families. I REFUSE to use credit ever agin...it's CASH or I don't need it!!
