Why chat you said if you settle a debt expect to get a 1099.

1-A) What if you dont settle and just ignore?

1-B)Can they and will they send a 1099 anytime?
1-C)Will all interest be included?
1-D)Can they send it in 6 years after date of last activity? C
1-E)Can you ask writing for them not send a 1099?

Also, I used a card on Feburary 12, 1998. I never made one payment. On my report it shows date of last activity on 5-98. How can this be?

2)When would the statute start?

I dont remember what my billing cycle payments on this account were. It was either the beginning or end of month. To be safe if I know I never made a payment when would the statute start?

Also, I think Linda mentioned that the (SOL) starts when you missed first payment.
Lets say I missed a June payment then made a payment in August then never made another payment.

3)Would the Statute start in June or August?

I appreciate yout time.
Thanks
