The CRA's are not legally bound to observe the "first delinquency" rule for pre-Dec.1997,but if you have a clear case with good documentation,you can get them to follow it under a side-bar of the FCRA that puts the consumer with a "clear cause of action" for a correction or deletion at a legal advantage.
