First Select has lost whatever "immunity" it might have had as a subsidiary of Providian by buying charged off accounts from 7 other credit card companies 2 months ago.In a post last month I stated that if they were only collecting for Providian they might not be covered under FDCPA,I was unaware of their expansion at that time.
