Spouse's credit card debt - community property state

I am married and live in Wisconsin, a community property state. I recently learned that my wife obtained a credit card in her own name without my knowledge and ran up a significant debt. Is there anything I can do to protect myself from this recurring in the future? Is there an agency I can contact where I could find out any and all credit cards issued in her name? Is there a way for me to ensure that she can not be issued a credit card without my knowledge?
