OK- Here's the deal. In order for your wife to have applied for an individual account in a community property State she would have had to furnish information about you,including your birthdate ss# etc.There may or may not, depending on when it was,have been a privacy form requiring your signature. In any case, get your credit report,check not only what is listed as active accounts,but all INQUIRIES. Write to each of what you believe to be her charge accounts and dispute either their entry or inquiry on your report as unauthorized by you. That should work,together with the fraud notice to the CRA's. Make sure you get reports from all 3 CRA's.
