Ok if the relisting of the tradelines and verifications took place after the validation letter then sent them a letter of intent to sue for violating the FCRA for collection actions after a validation request was recived. Add $1000 per violation and perminant deletion of tradelines.

Bet you will get an offer to settle. Money is up to you, but make sure dropping the debt and deletion of all tradelines is and the deal and make sure its is in writing. Scare tactics work in the consumers favor as well.

If you wind up taking them to court then get advice from a qualified attorney.
