LIEN/BK - HELP!!

I had a car repo'd and the atty's for the company sued for the amount, i was served with the papers after they had already gone to court, regardless, they apparently won $10K, and filed a "Lien" with the County Recorder for several counties, I have a car i am about to payoff in May, can they take it as soon as it is mine, can i put it in my new husbands name (at the time of the repo, i was getting divorced, and the car was in my and my ex's name)in other words, what can i do to keep them from taking my paid off car, do they have to go to court to enforce the lien?? How do i get the lien removed, without paying the 10k??
I filed for BK with my ex in '97, however we've gotten divorced since then, but my credit is mess due to that, and i constantly have creditors calling, i am now re-married, do i have to wait 7 years to file again, or is there another option???
