No!! Don't do it. Your credit will be trashed anyway. Just bite the bullet and pay it down.

If you have equity in your house, cash value in a life insurance policy, or you are young and have money in a 401k account, you MIGHT come out better re interest borrowing from those. Requires professional advice so you don't create a tax problem for yourself.

Have you tried negotiating your rates some more?? Sometimes offering a BT gets you a dynamite rate.
