Gulf State Credit Lp & Equifax Credit

Don't know why but it appears to me that these two companies are in bed together. I have had Equifax remove an unsubstantiate and unsupportable derogatory on my credit rating 3 times and each time they say they have deleted. Equifax sends me a report that shows it has been removed and then in less than 3 weeks it reappears. The other credit reporting agencies have removed it years ago and it has never reappeared. Coincidence? Anyone else with this problem? I am considering legal action against both of them as it has adversely affected my credit terms with several of my creditor.
