You don't need to subject yourself to the abuse. Don't talk to them. You did right, BTW. When you can see through their tactics, they're not so scarey, huh?

You can always send them a letter telling them not to call you, that you may only be contacted by mail. That really puts the screws to them. They can't threaten you when they have to put it in writing.
